Knit or Crochet for Kids

Here is a free Owl Puff pattern by Jenna Krupar on Ravelry to create owls for the "Critter Creation Kits." If you cast off and leave a nice tail the kids can later stitch up the owls themselves. You may knit or crochet the owls!

Here is a free crochet pattern created by Noelle for Cancer Kickin' Critters. Enjoy making Quick Chicks!

Print a Birth Certificate and send it with your Critter, square or owl body if you would like to include it with your donation! Kids love to know who created their critter, and we like to share the type of critter and yarn used. Please identify the yarn for every critter, square or owl body even if you don't complete a birth certificate in case the child has allergies.

Here are some helpful tips for creating knit squares! Be sure to include enough yarn to stitch up the bunny with your donation. (one piece at least 3-4x the square height, more for a matching pom pom tail!)
